The Beck Muffler Service Center was established in 1972 by Harry Beck. Bill Hancock worked for Harry after he and his wife were both honorably discharged in 1971, from the United States Marine Corp. Bill helped Harry established the Lafayette store until 1981 when he purchased the company from Harry. For 26 years, Bill and his family have been providing the community with low cost, high quality products with exceptional customer service. Bill for years spearheaded your cars exhaust needs and provided other vehicle services that changed with the automotive industry. Throughout our duration, the employees at Beck Muffler have been providing our customers and commercial accounts with quick, reliable service at a fraction of the cost.

Robert Hancock joined his father after being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force in 2003. Robert has taken over the reigns from his father and is now following his footsteps.  Robert believes that the core values his father built the business on in the 80's and 90's will continue to make Beck Muffler a preferred auto repair shop in the Lafayette area.

We will perform high QUALITY SERVICE at a FAIR PRICE while using only proven high QUALITY PRODUCTS and the most SKILLED TECHNICIANS. We will offer our customers a price estimate with an explanation of corrective and preventative maintenance. We will obtain prior authorization for all work being performed and will notify our customer of any changes.
